This is the 4’th year in a row that FIMFF will take place in Tórsgøta. The festival will follow corona guidelines and is therefore downscaled but as interesting and relevant as ever. FIMFF shows feature films, documentaries and shorts – all displaying the lives of minorities.
The opening will take place in Norðurlandshúsið on July 24 at 19.30 with the screening of Kampen om Grønland. The instructor, Kenneth Sorento, will be at the venue with Q&A’s.
The theme for this years festival is Black Lives Matter and Transgender.
There will also be talks, kids screening and workshops.
The films are in different languages and with Danish or Norwegian subtitles.
