This year the Warm Spring Festival exhibition will celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Fuglafjørður is known for its many artists and, in general, as a creative town. The main exhibition naturally takes place around the time of the Warm Spring Festival (29 June), but this year there will be two pre-exhibitions, one featuring the first local artists to exhibit here, and one featuring the four contemporary architects who originate from this town. Both of these exhibitions are located in Gallery Ribarhús, next to the Old Shop, which is home to the Arts and Crafts Association.
The main art exhibition will be spread in different locations in Fuglafirði and show the work of around 50 current, local or locally rooted artists
The first warm-up exhibition will be from 1-12 June, while the second warm-up is from 13-22 June. From 24 June – 8 July you can experience the main art exhibition in different locations.
